Elk Skin Gloves
Rees found these gloves for us. Made by Sullivan Gloves in the USA, with natural tan heavy weight elkskin, they’re his favourite and will immediately be yours. They are thicker, stronger and more abrasion resistant than deerhide and they last much longer. When the gloves finally wear out, it feels like you’ve lost a friend.
Built for ranching and hunting, they’re tough enough for barbed wire fencing, yet sensitive enough to accurately handle a fly rod. The snap cuff will slightly gauntlet over most jackets or close to let wind in your sleeves on a hot day. As a testament to their comfort and reliability, California Highway Patrol Motorcycle Officers wear elk skin gloves all day, every day, week in and week out.
Sullivan Glove, established in 1941 in San Francisco, began crafting gloves for ship builders during World War II. After the war, Ed Sullivan moved the company to Bend, Oregon where it’s been ever since. They maintain a tradition of making the best quality, most comfortable and durable gloves on the market.
We offer these in lined and unlined.
