How long to go there to there in 1914

Posted on July 01 2018, by Scott Gilmore

This may be the most romantic map we've ever seen. Drafted in the early 20th century, it is an "isochronic" map that charts how long it takes to go from London to anywhere on the planet.

Right click to take a closer look. 5 days to Istanbul. 10 days to New Orleans. 20 days to Cape Town. 30 days to Hong Kong. And 40 days to the interior of Australia.

If you'd like a copy of this incredible map, we sell them here.
